The TANITA BC-401 is a very compact and accurate body analysis scale, ideal for use by the whole family. For example, it memorizes data from 5 people and measures only what is really relevant to children (aged between 5 and 17), i.e. weight, BMI and body fat. This way, everyone has an overview of their own body composition and can work together on their health goals.
The BC-401 also measures your metabolic age. A unique measurement function that only TANITA body composition scales have. This measurement calculates your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and then compares it to the average for your age group. If your metabolic age is lower than your actual age, then you’re on the right track. If it’s higher, there’s still work to be done!
