The Heavy Roller is a training accessory designed to develop grip strength thanks to an eccentric load mechanism. By gripping the roller firmly and working against the rotation, you precisely challenge the flexors and extensors of the wrist. An essential tool for strengthening the forearm without overloading the fingers.

Unlike conventional exercises, the Heavy Roller provides an effective grip workout while reducing strain on finger tendons. The load is distributed across the palm, making it ideal for climbers wishing to protect their fingers.

Specific work for sloper

The Heavy Roller engages the same muscles as those used on sloper holds. By training off the wall, you strengthen your wrists and forearms while protecting your skin from the aggressive friction of real grips.

Comfortable diameter for a natural grip

With a diameter of 60 mm, this roller has been designed to offer a pleasant, natural grip, avoiding the joint tension often caused by conventional dumbbells. Its high-friction coating ensures good grip even during the most intense sessions.

How it works

Partially wrap the rope around the roller, attach a weight (ideally with our Lifting Pin) and lift. This eccentric load creates a rotation that you need to counter with your wrists, thus challenging your stabilizing muscles. By changing the direction of resistance, you can work either the wrist flexors or the wrist extensors.

Stabilization and injury prevention

Regular use of the Heavy Roller improves coordination and stability, and strengthens accessory muscles. It’s also an effective rehabilitation tool for tendonitis-type injuries (golf elbow, tennis elbow), thanks to progressive, controlled strengthening.
